So glad you got to experience the West Fork. I lived inAZ for over so years, and made an effort to hike this trail in October as many years as I could. The fall colors are EXTRA.

Amazing in so many ways!! My wife and I hiked all over Sedona 30 years ago and we loved it. We also did Zion and Brice absolutely loved it. Best 4 weeks vacation we ever did . Happy trails and I enjoy watching.

We don't have that car in Norway (at least never seen one) so I have done something similar in a tiny Ford focus station wagon. But this could definitely work as a more permanent solution for me too. Very nice setup, have fun on your travels.

The Yarnell Hill Fire was a wildfire near Yarnell, Arizona, ignited by dry lightning on June 28, 2013. On June 30, it overran and killed 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots

Beautiful hike! There is a movie about the 19 Firefighters that died. It is so sad😢😢😢😢. I think it’s called, “Only The Brave.”

Haha, it's a dangerous hike because it's hard to keep your eyes where you're walking!

I did this hike last year for the second time. One of my favorite hikes ever, and I've probably hiked over ten thousand miles in my lifetime. I grew up near there on Oak Creek. That area has so many awesome places. The Verde River is one of the most beautiful rivers out there. Lots of really interesting native american sites and architecture.
